She was really into it, and you could see the wheels turning in her young mind. It was almost like they were bored with what seemed to be reality and were following my lead!
INSERT HAPPY DANCE!
My 14 year old daughter came to me the beginning of this summer and prompted me. She said, "Mom I'm ready. Tell me what you know!" When she said that, it was known, what the what was she was talking about. It was music to my ears! We talked for two hours and I went in!! I told her everything in a way that she could comprehend, and would not be afraid. She was most interested in synchronicity, so she is currently reading the "Celestine Prophecy".
She has already recognized synchronistic moments, (two un related events happening at the same time that one would think is a coincidence.) We were having a conversation about forgiveness. As soon as I said the word "forgive", there was a cartoon on and they started singing, "Time to forgive, time to forgive." She was so excited! She said, "OMG MOM!!! DID YOU HEAR THAT? THAT WAS SYNCHRONISTIC!"
I was warmer than a hot apple pie out of the oven!! It is so awesome to see my kids learning things at this age that I discovered as an adult. They surely are going to be among the fittest to survive!
My youngest baby is truly a gift and blessing. She has stories of "Grandma" which is my mother's mother who passed away when my mother was an infant. She told an elaborate story about Grandma's house that she helped paint. She told us that her favorite color was red, and she helped paint the door and the "trim" (She said trim. She was 2!)
We have a picture of my grandmother in a stairwell, and when my youngest passes the picture, she says things like, "Grandma is always kissing me, she's so funny!" Yes. True. She's only 3 right now. I encourage her telling stories because I believe they are memories of past lives. I don't act as if it is her imagination. The book I introduced to her and love is called "Together Again". It's about knowing that you were with God before you were born. The story is told from the perception of a child who remembered living in heaven and coming to earth and reuniting with her mother on earth. As I put her to sleep tonight I asked her did she want her baby doll to sleep with her. She said no, she talks too much! ha!
I thank God for giving me these babies to nurture and pour into. I look forward to the young ladies they will turn out to be being raised with the "Lights ON!" I know they will have to get experience to learn certain things, but I am very sure that they are getting the correct start and foundation.
