{...Continued from last vlog entry.. I suggest reading that first if you haven't already =) } My now 18 year old came to me a few years ago, and she wanted to know about reincarnation, so I gave her "Many Mansions, The Edgar Cayce Story on Reincarnation" She was really into it, and you could see the wheels turning in her young mind. It was almost like they were bored with what seemed to be reality and were following my lead! INSERT HAPPY DANCE! My 14 year old daughter came to me the beginning of this summer and prompted me. She said, "Mom I'm ready. Tell me what you know!" When she said that, it was known, what the what was she was talking about. It was music to my ears! We talked for two hours and I went in!! I told her everything in a way that she could comprehend, and would not be afraid. She was most interested in synchronicity, so she is currently reading the "Celestine Prophecy". She has already recognized synchronistic moments, (two un related events happening at the same time that one would think is a coincidence.) We were having a conversation about forgiveness. As soon as I said the word "forgive", there was a cartoon on and they started singing, "Time to forgive, time to forgive." She was so excited! She said, "OMG MOM!!! DID YOU HEAR THAT? THAT WAS SYNCHRONISTIC!" I was warmer than a hot apple pie out of the oven!! It is so awesome to see my kids learning things at this age that I discovered as an adult. They surely are going to be among the fittest to survive! My youngest baby is truly a gift and blessing. She has stories of "Grandma" which is my mother's mother who passed away when my mother was an infant. She told an elaborate story about Grandma's house that she helped paint. She told us that her favorite color was red, and she helped paint the door and the "trim" (She said trim. She was 2!) We have a picture of my grandmother in a stairwell, and when my youngest passes the picture, she says things like, "Grandma is always kissing me, she's so funny!" Yes. True. She's only 3 right now. I encourage her telling stories because I believe they are memories of past lives. I don't act as if it is her imagination. The book I introduced to her and love is called "Together Again". It's about knowing that you were with God before you were born. The story is told from the perception of a child who remembered living in heaven and coming to earth and reuniting with her mother on earth. As I put her to sleep tonight I asked her did she want her baby doll to sleep with her. She said no, she talks too much! ha! I thank God for giving me these babies to nurture and pour into. I look forward to the young ladies they will turn out to be being raised with the "Lights ON!" I know they will have to get experience to learn certain things, but I am very sure that they are getting the correct start and foundation.

Being a mother is my greatest job! I love the fact that I am a big part of shaping and molding my daughters into the best people they can be. As a young kid in school, I was so fascinated by Charles Darwin's theory of "Survival of the Fittest". That term has been stuck in my brain and is connected to several "Neuro-nets" of mine. (Neuro-nets are Basically Brain webs of thought)The minute I became a mother, there was a switch that activated in me that made me want to make sure that my children were equip with all they needed before they left the nest. Every time they come home from school, I converse with them by asking about what subjects they're learning and offer a bit more of what I know about that subject. I then go further and say, "The next thing you'll learn about is "this" "and sure enough, they were praised by the teacher by having some knowledge about what they were just introduced in school. I do this because I want them to be armed with the most knowledge possible. I used to offer them a lot more information than they asked for. There were some interesting things that I was itching to teach them but they were not ready. When I went down my "knowledge obsession" I talk about in my book, "Turn On The Lights", I wanted to talk to them about Quantum Physics, Metaphysics, Souls, Reincarnation, and all things along that path. At first, they were scared to know and would say "That's too deep, I don't want to know all that right now". So instead of forcing information down their throats, I simply led by example, and made the information readily accessible for them. They would see me on the computer or reading a book and notice how it had my attention. Or they would over hear me having phone conversations with some friends of like minds, and their interest was peaked even more. I have 5 daughters and they all came to me at different times wanting to know the information. It was so divine to see the spirit searching. You can recognize a searcher if you are awake and illuminated. I was more than happy to have individual talks with each of them, and depending on what they were most interested in, I recommended a book. To be continued......... "THE ONLY THING MORE EXPENSIVE THAN EDUCATION IS IGNORANCE" - Ben Franklin I love this phrase and have been saying this for a long time! When you really think about it, in totality, you too will understand the phrase, Ignorance is Expensive. Let's take a simple contract. Very easy for either party to opt out in writing. Without that written expression of looking to opt out, the original terms keep on until notice is given. A person hires a company to perform some tasks. They've had a conversation and it got heated, and the person who hired the company was so mad, they decided not to ever talk to them again. The company, being a business, simply kept sending the monthly invoices for services they were contracted to do, and because that simple opt out letter was NOT done or received, the person who hired the company now has accrued a re-occuring balance that could have been avoided! This could have been avoided by doing what was necessary and spelled out in the contract. It was ignored, so it became expensive! Going to a job interview and Not mapping out a route--- You're late. Cost you time and a potential new job. Not checking the rules on what you can or can not travel with-- Cost you the products you spent money on as they are thrown away. This phrase can be applied to so many areas of our lives. Just think of us as a community. If our community was more educated on issues pertaining to our well being; our mental, physical and spiritual health, we would be making better decisions that ultimately create a better life for ourselves. Because of ignorance, we are losing an uphill battle at our communities expense. I encourage everyone to ponder this phrase, and see where it can be applied. Please take time to educate yourself on a wide range of issues and subjects so that you can be armed with the knowledge that will make things less expensive for you! #TURNONTHELIGHTS |
